The Museum plays an important part in the Jewish education of the Würzburg Jewish community.

There are 100 Jewish and non-Jewish volunteers who are available. They have been carefully trained (certificate of the Jewish community) and undergo further professional training.

They also give visitors guided city tours through former Jewish quarters in the city center as well as in the Jewish cemetery.

They arrange group meetings and conventions informing about Jewish religion and history. They also guide through the indoor synagogue.

Registration: phone +49931-4041441  or   e-mail: museum.shalomeuropa@gmx.de

Regular guided tours through the museum will be possible each month on the first Sunday between 2 and 4 p.m. (guide: Prof. Dr.Dr. Karheinz Müller (entrance fee only)). Tour will be in German!

The “Gesellschaft für christlich-jüdische Zusammenarbeit in Würzburg und Unterfranken e.V.“ supports daily work in the museum and promotes the professional and further education of the museum guides (volunteers). It also supports the organization and implementation of daily work in the museum.
