The Shalom Europa Community Center has a unique mission. The aim is to present traditional Jewish life in all its essential details: its theological foundations as well as its practices at home and in the synagogue, but also its preservation and perpetuation over the 900 years that Jews have lived in Würzburg. The museum invites everyone to learn about the core values of Judaism. It encourages Jews to embrace a sensible form of Orthodoxy that is open to the world and views cultural cohesion in a predominantly Christian city as an opportunity for the Jewish community as well.
